The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has impacted almost every aspect of “normal” life across the U.S. and around the world. The entertainment industry has taken a hit as a result of the pandemic, as performers, directors, producers and actors have had to adjust. One aspect of the entertainment industry that has had to adjust has been the movie industry, as movie theaters are closed due to social distancing orders. With theaters closing, movies that were set to release this spring or summer are receiving new pushed back release dates or are being released for viewers to rent through Video on Demand services.
