The Warriors offense has changed since last year. “I actually tried to make it as easy as possible for them to learn so they can play fast,” Coach Reggie Germany said.
On Friday, North played Central at Jim McCann Stadium, North won 24-0. North’s new offense came onto the field for its first drive of the season. After a long drive, North punched it into the endzone with a pass from #7 Jakari Stovall (2026) to #3 Disi Alexander (2027).
On North’s next drive, Stovall threw another touchdown to Alexander. North drove down the field, but stalled out near the endzone and settled for a field goal before halftime.
To start the second half, North got the ball and a rushing touchdown by #0 Kayden Childress (2026). Central was forced to punt, but North muffed the punt and Central recovered. After a sack by North, the Warhawks were forced to punt again.
After a long Warrior drive into the fourth quarter, North settled for a field goal, but the attempt was blocked.

Central quarterback #2 Nate Miller (2029) was picked off by defenseman #4 Devon Dallas (2027).
After another North punt, Central’s quarterback, Miller, threw another interception to end the game.
North’s defense had two interceptions, but the team had more than 100 yards of penalties during the game.
According to Stovall, he has “improved [his] game by starting to do more footwork drills and lifting.”
