I chose the topic ‘Climate Crisis’ because it has been an ongoing issue in this world for years. Temperatures globally have been rising for hundreds of years. Then the Industrial Revolution began and factories with heavy machinery polluted the air, water, and ground. Even though the overall temperatures are rising slowly, it causes other disasters like forest fires and glacial melting. These things cause great harm to the ecosystems and wildlife. This is important to me because I grew up in a recycle house and my mom also worked at recycled products company. I always struggle to watch the news when I see disasters like wildfires, seeing how many people have to evacuate. Global warming doesn’t just affect people, it harms where and how animals live as well. Animals play a pretty big part in human lives. The world would become inhabitable if everything gets out of control. We need to take action. Even though we can’t reverse the damage that has already been done, we can slow down any problems for the future.
