“Resident Evil: Biohazard” released in early 2017, takes the Resident Evil gaming series to a whole new level with new perspectives, characters, plot, visuals and graphics.
Resident Evil Biohazard takes you through the eyes of Ethan Winters, who tries to find his wife Mia Winters when she goes missing and Ethan finds a mysterious video on her laptop saying she is alive and needs help. Resident Evil Biohazard takes you through the homes of many characters where Ethan faces puzzles, monsters, and the supernatural to bring Mia back home safely.
Although all of the six previous Resident Evil games are great, graphics, sound, voice acting and scenes are much better than the previous games.
If your new to Resident Evil, you have options to play on easy, medium, and hard mode to help raise the difficulty of the game according to the player.
Many Resident Evil games take you through only one perspective which is through the main character, Liam. But with Biohazard, it takes you through not just one of the perspectives, but also perspectives of people found on tapes hidden throughout the map to give quick hints to players for what’s to come later in the game. This is definitely one of the best ways to complete the game quickly and efficiently.
There is, however, a price to pay for good graphics, CGI, and the game itself. Storage becomes a big issue, typically, and requires a lot of your console’s storage to download and play the game, which prevents you from downloading or playing other games.
Through Biohazard we continue to see many glitches in characters or monsters, such as running into walls or getting stuck, giving many players an unfair advantage to make it past a stage quicker and easier.
Unlike the other six Resident Evil games, Resident Evil Biohazard was the first in the series to be in first person rather than third. We can see that Capcom, creator of the games, took a liking to this new perspective because the eighth Resident Evil, Resident Evil Village, is also in first person.
Despite the glitches and hacks players run into, the Resident Evil game series continues to become better and better as time moves on. Resident Evil Biohazard is available to purchase on PC, Xbox, and Playstation.
