Skateboarding is one of the most underrated sports that has ever been broadcasted on live television. This is due to the fact that once people try it out they give up almost as soon as they start. Skating can teach you different lessons such as being consistent, being resilient, or asking for help can take you far. I am someone that doesn’t like to ask for help with anything due to social anxiety but skating has gotten me over that for the most part. Anyone that I have met that skates would go out of their way to ask me if I want help and would teach me secrets to go the extra mile to help others. I like this because anytime I see any of my friends or random people skating or struggling with a trick I am able to help them and push them to try again instead of giving up.
