Zoos roast roach-like ex

Shelby Abayie

The San Antonio Zoo and El Paso Zoo will allow patrons to name a roach after an ex and have it fed to an animal. It’s a fun way to celebrate Valentines day for people that are not so lucky in love. More-so, donations go to zoo conservation efforts. If one has an especially terrible ex, the San Antonio Zoo is offering patrons the opportunity to name a rat and feed it to a reptile for $20. Efforts like these are a fun way to spend the weekend with friends and family. Valentines day doesn’t only have to be for couples, it can also celebrate the good times and laughs shared with friends and families. So, If one is having an especially rough dating season, why not stop by the zoo for some much needed catharsis.

“These zoos will name a cockroach after your ex and feed it to an animal on Valentine’s Day.” Maria Cortes Gonzalez and Joshua Bote.
