Stanley Water Bottle rises in popularity

Westerville North students hold up their Stanley Water Bottles. These cups are the current trend for teenagers’ to have world wide.

Many people may have seen the rise of popular Stanley Water Bottle (Stanley cup). This cup is the most popular cup in the world that students and adults use. It is a 40 ounce quencher that has a variety of different colors and the ability to keep cold and hot beverages for a long period of time. This cup can range from a price of $35 to $45 or even more.

Many may wonder why they are so expensive. The price comes from the stainless steel they are made of and their resistance to rust and discoloring. The cups are accessorizable and also have cute straw covers. However, there are downsides. The cup itself is very heavy.

I personally think that Stanley Cups aren’t worth buying because of how expensive they are. After all, it’s just a cup. A person could buy a cup just like that without the logo for a more reasonable price. Reading reviews, I’ve noticed that the cup does leak a lot and it’s more of a trend than a good water bottle. I think people buying multiple Stanley cups are wasting money on an unnecessary cup. Even though the Stanley cup is pretty and has cute designs it is too expensive for the cup itself.
