Muted launch for Google’s game-streaming service Stadia (Editorial Reaction)

To be entirely honest, I didn’t even know that Stadia had launched myself, despite the handful of ads I’ve seen about it over the past few months. And I don’t know if I’m much of a fan. A service that streams games instead of having them loaded onto your device does sound great, especially considering you could stream from any device. However, it’s it’s not too appealing considering that it’s supposed to be a convenient service, yet you still have to lug around a controller. Plus, the game library is very limited, and not really appealing at that, which makes it hard to want. The most interesting game of the bunch to me is probably Destiny or Mortal Kombat, and that’s not saying much. Although, the service is still being worked on, and they still have a while before any new consoles come out. So hopefully, the library can expand before then.
