Tampa’s new player

Tom Brady has left the Patriots, a team he has spent 20 years with, to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The quarterback announced this via his social media platforms on March 17.

Brady seems excited about the move, writing on his instagram “I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the Buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do.”

The Tampa coaching staff seems optimistic about Brady’s move, with the head coach saying that he is blessed to coach “the greatest one of all-time.”

It is reported that Brady signed for two years with the Florida team, and 50 million guaranteed.

But Brady isn’t the only famous player that Tampa has its eye on, Rob Gronkowski, a former New England tight end. There are rumors that he is coming out of retirement to play alongside Brady, who he says is the only quarterback he’ll play for.

Brady recently moved his family to Tampa and bought a home previously owned by Derek Jeter, a Yankees short stop.

With everything going on with the world, there is uncertainty surrounding the football season this year, but nonetheless Brady and Tampa are looking toward the future.
